ABOUT US: Who are we?
Lighthouse Family Ministries Northwest was born out of the personal experiences of a woman who faced the many challenges and obstacles to breaking the cycle of domestic abuse in her own family. Out of these experiences, God began to stir a two-fold vision in her heart:

  • To open transitional homes for families breaking free from domestic abuse, where they have the time, space and resources necessary to heal and begin rebuilding their lives.
  • To begin a movement of education to better equip churches and the community to assist those who come to them for aid.

  • Equipping and empowering families to build a new life.
  • Assisting perpetrators who want to break abusive patterns of behavior by directing them to proven resources that will allow them the opportunity to change and heal.
  • Engaging and educating South King County churches, individuals and organizations in order to build a network of domestic abuse advocacy.
