In the United States...

  • One in four women will experience domestic abuse
  • Domestic abuse is the leading cause of injury to women - more than car accidents, muggings and rapes combined
  • A woman is assaulted or beaten every nine seconds
  • Every day more than three women are murdered by their husbands or boyfriends
  • Studies suggest that up to ten million children witness some form of domestic abuse annually

Our hearts ache to change the statistics, to break the cycle of domestic abuse
one relationship at a time, and to empower families to live lives free of violence and abuse.

We are now accepting applications for our Transitional Housing Program!
